To Perform In Newtown
Redstone Ridge, the first place winners at the 2006 Roxbury Pickinâ & Fiddlinâ Contest, will perform its contemporary bluegrass, folk and Americana music at Newtown Congregational Church on Friday, March 28. The performance will begin at 7:30 pm.
Admission is $10 per ticket, with children ages 12 and under admitted free. Tickets can be purchased in advance or at the door. Light refreshments will be served.
Members of the band are Dave Aston (bass fiddle), Irfv Hagewood (banjo and vocals), Cathy Jones (fiddle and vocals), Aaron Shaw (lead vocals and mandolin), and Newtown resident Andy Spencer (lead vocals and acoustic guitar).
