âPop to the Presentâ features major works from the Atheneumâs extensive collections of contemporary art. This exhibition examines the multiple avenues of artistic exploration from the 1960s to the present. With the explosion of new modes of representation and new artistic, social and political concerns that became central to the language of art during this time, âPop to the Presentâ celebrates the varieties of form that proliferated during the last third of the Twentieth Century and continue into the present.
