The Society of Creative Arts of Newtown (SCAN) will host a pastel landscape painting demonstration by Frank Federico on Wednesday, November 28, at 1:30 pm, in the lower meeting room of Newtown Meeting House, 31 Main Street. The public is welcome, free of charge.
An award-winning master artist and teacher, Mr Federico was inducted into The Pastel Society of Americaâs Hall of Fame in September during the societyâs 40th anniversary dinner in New York City.
He is a popular workshop instructor, past president and signature member of Connecticut Pastel Society, and a returning favorite for SCAN.
