‘OUR LAND’ LECTURE AT HOOD APRIL 11

HANOVER, N.H. — The Hood Museum of Art presents an opening lecture and reception, “Our Land: Thoughts On Inuit Art And Self Determination,” on Wednesday, April 11, at 5:30 pm in the Arthur M. Loew Auditorium.

John Grimes, director of the Institute of American Indian Art in Santa Fe, N.M., and co-curator of the exhibition, will offer the lecture. Honorable Ann Meekitjuk Hanson, commissioner of Nunavut, and Neil LeBlanc, Canadian Consul General in Boston, will provide opening remarks. A reception sponsored by the Canadian Consulate General will follow in Kim Gallery.
