To the Editor:

A big thank you is not enough to convey our words of gratitude to Harvey Pessin and all the hardworking volunteers of the Victory Garden. Every year, they deliver the fruits of their efforts to us.

Our residents love picking through the "garden" when vegetables are dropped off here in our community room. They enjoy locally grown produce and eagerly look forward to each delivery.

Our thanks to them again not only for their support of Nunnawauk's senior and disabled community, but also of the tremendous time and effort spent growing, maintaining, and harvesting their crops and sharing it with their neighbors. We appreciate you all and wish you continued success with the Victory Garden in the years to come.
