Newtown High School had two divers among the top ten and three within the top 15 at the South-West Conference diving championships, at New Fairfield High School, on October 25.

Kiera Sughrue had a score of 339.35 to earn seventh place.

Hannah Weatherby had a score of 323.70 for ninth.

Kylie Giroux was 13th with a score of 281.46 for 13th place.

The swimmers will compete on Saturday, October 28, when the SWC swim and diving championships continue. The meet will take place at Masuk High in Monroe, and begin at 3 pm.
