Newtown Volunteer Ambulance responded to 45 calls during May 20-26.

There were 29 medical calls, 14 trauma calls and 2 standby/other calls.

Medical: respiratory, 5; cardiac, 5; seizure, 1; diabetic, 2; miscellaneous, 16.

Trauma: 4 vehicular, 10 non-vehicular.

Thirty-five persons were transported to the hospital; 10 were not transported.

Four were ages infant to 8; 20 were ages 22-60; 21 were over age 60.

Twenty-eight were males; 17 were females.

Four calls were between midnight and 8 am; 22 between 8 am and 4 pm; 19 between 4 pm and midnight.
