To the Editor:

Thank you so very much to all of the volunteers, big and small, who came out to help me prime the walls [for the Church Hill Road mural project] on May 20. You have given me the largest canvas of my life! Mark Svanda and his paint crew - amazing job; The Newtown Color Center for their very generous support of supplies and paint; and Mike from the Holy Cow Ice Cream Shop for the delicious ice cream treat.

The mural will take all summer. Please feel free to stop by.
