Mr And Mrs Peter Bartley Janis

Elizabeth Demarest Kenyon and Peter Bartley Janis were married on June 17 at the First Church of Round Hill in Greenwich with the Rev Neely Towe and Rev Steve Gordon officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Betsy Kenyon of Newtown and Wayne Kenyon of Sandy Hook.

The groom is the son of Ethel Swartz of Mount Pleasant, S.C., and the late Donald Janis.

The bride was given in marriage by her father.

The matrons of honor were Sarah Perez of New Rochelle, N.Y., and Laurie Balch of Fairfield.

The best men were Timothy Janis of Kennebunk, Me., and Stephen Janis of Baltimore, Md.

The bride graduated from Newtown High School and Fairfield University and is a registered nurse at St Francis Hospital.

The groom graduated from Greenwich High School and Johnson State College. He is a real estate agent with William Pitt of Greenwich.

The reception was held at the Shenorock Shore Club in Rye, N.Y.

Following a wedding trip to Bermuda, Mr and Mrs Janis are residing in Greenwich.
