Mr and Mrs Gregg Harry Ashworth

Lynn Marie Lefavor and Gregg Harry Ashworth, both of Suffolk, were married September 13 in the Newtown Congregational Church. A reception following the ceremony took place at 707-On- Main, Monroe.

Parents of the bride are Edward and Teresa Lefavor of Sandy Hook.

Parents of the groom are June Ashworth, and the late Donald Ashworth, stepson of Cynthia Ashworth.

The bride was given in marriage by her father.

She wore a white silk and satin strapless ball gown with a beaded band at the waist and chapel length train from Julie Allen Bridals. She carried a bouquet of red roses.

Maid of honor was Lynn Denise Ashworth of Altamone Springs, Fla.

Bridesmaids were Cathy Holcomb of Marstons Mills, Mass., Amy Talviste of Wallingford, and Cynthia Murdy of Broadbrook.

Dresses for the attendants, also from Julie Allen Bridals, were double Georgette dresses in blackberry with draped neckline and A-line skirts. They carried bouquets of red roses.

Best man was Scott Violet of Barkhamstead.

Ushers were Scot Lefavor of Boulder, Colo., John Murdy of Broadbrook, and Jason Talviste of Wallingford.

Rachel Holcomb of Marstons Mills, Mass., was also in the wedding party.

Schools attended by the bride were Minnechaug Regional High School in Wilbraham, Mass., and the University of Hartford. She is employed as an office supervisor at Adecco in Rocky Hill.

Schools attended by the groom were Granby High School, Granby, and Marshall University of West Virginia. He is a loan officer at GMAC in Wethersfield.

After a wedding trip to Aruba, the couple is residing in East Granby.
