The following special programs will all be ongoing during regular museum hours.

*Tuesday, May 3, to Sunday, May 29:

Starting on Tuesday, May 3, check out the new flower-inspired Art Lab projects, Paper Daffodil Bouquets and Bumblebee Stripes.

In Paper Daffodil Bouquet, young scientists will use paper, cupcake liners, and Popsicle sticks to create paper daffodils. Young scientists will learn about floral parts and structure while constructing their bouquets.

In Bumblebee Stripes, young scientists will assemble bumblebees by gluing alternate black- and yellow-colored stripes onto a bee pattern. They will then count how many stripes there are, and then write that number on the wings, so that they work on their counting and addition skills while constructing their bees.

Learn about the different parts of flowers. Young botanists will dissect flowers and learn about the scientific names and properties of the flower parts.

*Sunday, May 8: All

*Wednesday, May 11:

During this special Science Lab, children will watch paper water lilies bloom before their very eyes. Young horticulturalists will be simulating the blooming of a paper water lily. They will get to decorate and cut out their own paper water lily, and then watch it through using the power of capillary action.

*Friday, May 20:

Ever wonder how flowers grow and multiply? They grow and multiply with the help of bees. During this Science Lab, learn about the process of biotic pollination, which will be simulated using paper bees, tape, and gelatin.

*Wednesday, May 25:

Learn about the bee's natural habitat - the beehive - during this Art Lab offering.

By using bubble wrap, paint, and paper, busy bee artists will learn about hive construction, honeycombs, and the busy life of bees.

In addition to its regular hours and special programs in May, EverWonder Children's Museum will be open on Memorial Day Monday, May 30, from 10 am to 5 pm.
