For the 30th consecutive year, Masonicare at Newtown will sponsor free Summer Sounds concerts on its beautiful grounds at 139 Toddy Hill Road, Newtown.

Area residents are invited to bring lawn chairs and blankets to enjoy a variety of wonderful musical performances given by many of the area's most popular bands. All concerts will be held on Wednesdays at 7 pm. In case of inclement weather, rain dates have also been scheduled.

The 2016 concert schedule is as follows: June 15, The Berkshire Big Band, with music of the 30s, 40s and 50s (rain date June 16); June 29, The Larry Ayce Band (rain date June 30); July 13, The Vinny and Ray Orchestra (rain date July 14); July 27, The Frank Porto Band, with sounds of swing (rain date July 28); and August 10, The Big Beat Band, with music of the 50s and 60s (rain date August 11).
