Lucille L. (Curti) Penna, 95, formerly of New Fairfield, died in Palm Harbor, Fla., July 1. She was born in Danbury on December 15, 1921. She graduated from Danbury High School in 1940, then moved to New York, where she met her husband Tony; they were married for 62 years.

Her daughter, Carol Turoczi of Newtown; grandsons, Kyle of Woodbury and Chad of Newtown; daughter-in-law, Kathie of Maine; and grandchildren, Lauren, Carrie, Erika and her husband Larry, Marc, David, Anthony, Nick, Joe, and Lawrence, survive her. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren and on May 12, 2017, she became a great-great-grandmother.

Her husband, Tony; their sons, Ken and Larry, and son-in-law, Duane Turoczi, predeceased her.

She started her working career in Queens, N.Y., as a secretary for a judge and returned to Danbury in 1951, working for several local attorneys until she decided to open her real estate office in New Fairfield. When she and her husband retired, they spent the rest of their days enjoying their life in Florida.

Her loved ones say, "Rest in peace mom, grandma, great-grandma, and great-great-grandma. Gone... but in our hearts forever."
