Louis C.          Chalifoux

Louis C. Chalifoux, Jr, 60, of Berkshire Road, Sandy Hook, died January 29 at his home.

He was born in Rutlandt, Vt., October 29, 1940, son of the late Louis and Marion (La Montain) Chalifoux.

A retired roofer, he has been a resident of Sandy Hook the past 15 years.

Mr Chalifoux is survived by one brother, Richard Chalifoux of St Petersburg, Fla., three sisters, Linda Binette and Penny Birch, both of Danbury, and Beverly Birch of Franklin Turn, N.C.; also his good friend, Mary Antey of Sandy Hook; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held February 1 at the Honan  Funeral Home, 58 Main Street, Newtown.

Burial will be in Zoar Cemetery in the spring.
