Lori Ann Fuchs to George Herbert Appleby

Lori Ann Fuchs of Pastors Walk, Monroe, and George Herbert Appleby of Mill Street, East Haven, announce their engagement to be married.

The future bride is the daughter of Rachel Fuchs and the late Robert Fuchs, also of  Monroe. She attended Abbott Technical High School in Danbury and graduated with the Class of 1989. She is employed by the Drug Center of Newtown and by KB Toys of Newtown.

The future groom is the son of Nathaniel Appleby and the late Grace Appleby of Mill Street, East Haven. He graduated from Branford High School with the Class of 1990 and was with the United States Navy from 1990 to 1994. He is employed by Jiffy Lube in West Haven.

An August wedding is planned.
