Ilona "Helen" Debreceni, 76, formerly of Newtown and Southbury, died on June 14 in Plant City, Fla., where she resided for the last 12 years.

Her three children and their spouses, Zoltan and Kathy Debreceni of Sandy Hook, Steve and Kim Debreceni of Naugatuck, and Eva and Joe Panettieri of New Fairfield; her five grandchildren, Amy, Ashley, Jessica, Michael, and Rachel; one great-grandson; and her loving brother-in-law, Daniel Cellucci of Weston, survive her.

A celebration of Ms Debreceni's life will be conducted at Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main Street, Newtown, on Thursday, July 20, from 5 to 8 pm. A private burial will be at Hillside Cemetery, Wilton.
