To the Editor:

I urge all Newtown residents to re-elect Tony Hwang as your state senator.

Tony served in the Connecticut House of Representatives for three terms before being elected state senator for the 28th District, representing Newtown, Easton, Fairfield, and parts of Weston and Wilton.

Senator Hwang consistently executed a common sense approach when representing the citizens of his district. His relentless focus on reducing government spending to ease the tax burden on Connecticut families, advancing programs and legislation to foster job growth and long-term success for businesses, and supporting legislation to address a myriad of social issues has resulted in a record to be admired by all.

Please join me in voting for Tony Hwang and returning him to the state senate representing the 28th District.
