To The Editor:

I am writing to endorse Valerie Hart for the elected position of town clerk.

I first met Valerie nine years ago, as our daughters were in Middle Gate School together. We often crossed paths volunteering in classrooms or at Girl Scout meetings. More recently, I have worked alongside her for the past four years.

I have no doubt that Valerie's professionalism and interpersonal skills will shine as town clerk. There have been countless times she has gone above and beyond to aid clients, answer their questions, and assure they are satisfied. On a more personal level, as a co-worker, Valerie assists in supporting and training staff members, always with enthusiasm. As excited as we are for this new opportunity for her, the office will not be the same without her.

Valerie will be an asset to the town, and I will be supporting her on November 7.
