Ghost Hunting & The Supernatural Phenomena

MONROE — Lorraine Warren, one of the country’s most celebrated ghost hunters, will speak about ghost hunting and the supernatural phenomena on Thursday, November 3, at Masuk High School. Her program will begin at 7:30 pm.

Advance tickets are $15, while tickets purchased at the door will be $20.

Proceeds from the presentation will be donated toward the construction of a Stepney Heritage Trail gazebo and information kiosk. The Stepney Heritage Trail seeks to increase awareness and appreciation among residents, visitors and tourists of the more than 250-year-old heritage of the village of Stepney, located in the town of Monroe.

The lecture will feature an audio-visual presentation followed by an audience question and answer session.

For over 50 years Lorraine and Ed Warren have painstakingly investigated the realm of the supernatural throughout North America, Europe and Australia. Their intensive research on over 5,000 cases of reported phenomena throughout the world has convinced them beyond a shadow of a doubt of the existence of ghosts, demons, witches, Satanists, vampires and werewolves.

They have delved into such areas as voodoo, exorcisms and possessions, Satanism, curses, reincarnation, human combustion, psychic photography, séances, telepathy and many other occult sciences.

The Warrens have published ten books, the most recent release entitled, Ghost Tracks, which was co-written with Cheryl Wicks. Their life story is still under option with a Hollywood studio.

Tickets may be purchased in advance at Taylor Rental or Century 21/GreenGarden Realty, both in Monroe. Contact Lee Hossler, at 261-5702, for more information. The high school is at 1014 Monroe Turnpike.
