Frederick C. Cole

Frederick C. Cole, 76, of Springhill, Fla., formerly of Boonville, died on March 31 at Brooksville Regional Hospital in Brooksville, Fla.

He was the brother of Shirley Ferris of Newtown.

Mr Cole was born October 13, 1924, in Sandy Hook to Frederick W. and Letta (Bennett) Cole. He married Pauline McCarter on December 3, 1943, and she preceded him in death. He was a field engineer and spent 40 years with Branjen and Kluge Printing Equipment. He served honorably with the US Air Force and was a member of Victorious Believers in Florida.

He is survived by a daughter, Linda Sappington of Boonville; a son, Dwayne Cox of Spring Hill, Fla.; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; four brothers, Walter of Bethlehem, Larry Cole of Brookfield, Fla., Bruce Cole of Sequim, Tex., and Ken Cole of Danbury; two other sisters, Dorothy Earl of Visalia, Calif., and Virginia Wirtes of Northport, Fla.

Funeral services were held April 6 at the Friemonth-Freese Funeral Service, Fayette, Mo., with the Rev Tom Williams officiating. Interment was in Wesley Chapel Cemetery, Armstrong, Mo.

Memorial contributions may be made to Wesley Chapel or American Diabetes Association in care of the funeral home.
