VERMONT ANTIQUARIAN BOOK FAIR IN BURLINGTON APRIL 15

AVV/LSB SET 3/30 #694276

BURLINGTON, VT. — On April 15, booksellers from Vermont and the greater New England area will show their wares at the 14th annual Vermont Antiquarian Booksellers Association Spring Book Fair in the Exhibition Hall at the Sheraton Hotel on Williston Road.

Prices vary widely, from an old postcard of Burlington that may cost as little as $2, to a rare Hemingway first edition that can cost $2,000 or more. Most titles at the book fair sell for under $50, and many for less than $20.

Some leather bound glories from the 1600s and 1700s are available. Most book dealers at this show, however, offer Vermont history, modern first editions, mysteries, poetry, books on the American Civil War, even art and music books. Children’s books include Dr Seuss, original editions of the Nancy Drew series, and valued treasures from the Victorian era.

Highlights include postcards, prints, maps and other ephemera.

Hours are 10 am to 4 pm. For more information, visit www.VermontIsBookCountry.com or call Donna Howard at 802-527-7243.
