So many people and organizations in Newtown made 2017 a year to remember for the FAITH Food Pantry.

The Newtown Firefighters Thanksgiving Fill-the-Firetruck food drive remains a critical event in order to stock FAITH's food shelves for the coming months. Under the leadership of Karin Halstead, firefighters from Botsford, Dodgingtown, Hawleyville, Hook & Ladder, and Sandy Hook, and volunteers from the Ambulance Corps, collected countless food items, 55 turkeys, and $1,600 in cash and gift cards.

Thanks also go out to the people of Newtown, and the management of Big Y and Stop & Shop for their contributions to the drive.
