PRESIDENTS DAY
Reminder:
All Newtown town offices will be closed Presidents’ Day, Monday, February 19. The transfer station on Ethan Allen Road, usually only available for contractors on Mondays, will be closed on Presidents’ Day. C.H. Booth Library will be closed. The US Postal Service will be closed on Presidents’ Day. There is no mail delivery. Newtown schools are closed Monday, February 19, and Tuesday, February 20. EverWonder Children’s Museum will be open on Monday, and Edmond Town Hall Theatre has additional screenings scheduled of this week’s feature, Coco (please visit our Calendar listings for the full screening schedule). The office of The Newtown Bee, at 5 Church Hill Road, will be open regular hours, 8 am to 5 pm (earlier and later by chance), on Monday, February 19.
