Etta Mae Larsen, 85, of Sandy Hook, died February 17, at Danbury Hospital, surrounded by her family. She was the beloved wife of Carl Larson. Born in Bridgeport, February 9, 1925, she was the daughter of Etta Mae (DeLally) Haste and Earle W. Haste.

She worked for Casco of Bridgeport for 15 years. She also worked for Gordon Frasier for several years.

Mrs Larsen was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. 

Besides her husband of 61 years, she leaves behind three children and their spouses, Donna (Larsen) Glover and husband, Lee, of Sandy Hook, Wayne Larsen and wife, Nancy, of Winsted, and Sharon (Larsen) McLeod and husband, John, of Michigan; one brother, Earle Haste of Huntington; six grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and several cousins, nieces, and nephews. 

She will be sadly missed by everyone who knew her.

Burial will be held in the spring.
