David R. "Turtle" Volturno, 61, of Newtown, died peacefully September 6, after a long, courageous battle with Alzheimer's. He was born in Bridgeport, on November 12, 1955, son of the late Marie and Frank Volturno.

He was a member of Laborers Local 665 for 25 years and was the owner of Volturno's Landscaping.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving family David, Michael, Gina, and Joann, who survive him.

His brother, Joseph, predeceased him.

Mr Volturno's family wishes to thank his caregivers from Newtown Masonicare-Unit 2B for their dedicated care and compassion, especially during his final days.

A prayer service took place on September 10, at Spadaccino Funeral Home, Monroe.
