To the Editor:

We would like to extend our support for Andrew Clure as first selectman of Newtown. We have had many conversations with Andy at our daughters' softball games and after-game BBQs, and we know him to be very concerned about the issues that affect the people of Newtown. We have found Andy to be ready to listen and open to what the people think is needed in Newtown and very much wants to hear from the community. Andy has been very involved as a member of the Board of Education and would work extremely hard for Newtown. I believe that Andy Clure is ready, willing and able to take our town in the direction that will create a better Newtown.
