Craig W. Edmondson Appointed ACES Executive Director

NORTH HAVEN — Area Cooperative Educational Services (ACES) announces the appointment of veteran school administrator Craig W. Edmondson as executive director. Mr Edmondson was appointed by the ACES Governing Board following the departure of Cheryl S. Saloom, EdD, who recently retired.

Mr Edmondson’s association with ACES began in 2003 as director of professional development and school improvement for the agency. He was appointed assistant executive director in July 2005, and upon the retirement of Dr Saloom, was selected to fill the position of executive director.

Prior to joining ACES, Mr Edmondson served 26 years in education as a music teacher, an assistant principal and principal in Higganum, Madison and Moodus schools.

Mr Edmondson is the husband of Jo-Ann Peters-Edmondson, principal of Hawley School in Newtown.
