The Distribution Committee of the Sandy Hook Support Fund at The Newtown-Sandy Hook Community Foundation, Inc announced the release of its fourth annual community needs assessment.

The Distribution Committee includes representatives from groups who were most impacted by the tragedy on 12/14, including victims, surviving staff, parents of surviving SHS students, emergency responders, bus drivers, and clergy.

The committee relies on input from those impacted by the tragedy to make well-informed funding decisions that are responsive to the evolving needs of those groups and the community at large.

The survey, developed by the committee, is available online at  until June 2.surveymonkey.com

Paper copies are also available at the foundation's office, 2 Washington Square in Fairfield Hills. The survey is completely voluntary and anonymous.

For information about the foundation or funding to date, visit nshcf.org.
