Chester "Chet" Stanley Przewlocki, 84, of Danbury died unexpectedly on February 17, at Danbury Hospital. He was the devoted husband of Patricia (Stanton) Przewlocki. He was born in Stamford, on April 30, 1932, a son of the late Helen (Russell) and Stanley Przewlocki.

In addition to his beloved wife Patricia, his children: Craig Przewlocki, and his wife, Christee, of Sandy Hook, and Nityia Przewlocki of Seattle, Wash., and son-in-law Willard Seedman of West Hartford survive him. His daughter, Laura, predeceased him in 1993.

At the age of 18, he enlisted in the US Air Force. He received certification as an A&E mechanic and an instrument mechanic, and he took courses on tech instructor and C-1 auto pilot. He was honorably discharged in 1954. After the service, he attended the RCA Institute in New York City where he graduated with honors.

Mr Przewlocki enjoyed a long career as a technician at Pitney-Bowes, where he was a past president of the Main Council. His hobbies included square dancing, volleyball, camping, and canoeing. In early retirement, the Przewlockis enjoyed extensive travel and cruises in Europe and Asia. He also volunteered at the Danbury Senior Center. He took great joy in growing vegetables, fruits, and berries and enjoyed being outdoors - he was still shoveling snow at age 84! He was a parishioner of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church.

Memorial contributions may be made to Danbury Senior Center, Elmwood Hall, 10 Elmwood Place, Danbury CT 06810.

A Prayer Service will be on Wednesday, February 22, at 5:30 pm, at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4 to 7 pm. Burial will be private.
