Charles David Hennon

Charles “Chuck” David Hennon, 32, of Newtown died unexpectedly following a brief illness, June 26. He was born June 30, 1982, in Erie, Penn.

His wife, Allison Goldman Hennon of Newtown; his parents, Sheri Hennon of Danbury and Scott Hennon of Redwood City, Calif.; his sister, Molly Hennon, and her fiancée Christina Smith, of Brookfield; mother- and father-in-law, Monique and Fred Goldman of New Fairfield; sister-in-law Emily Goldman of Surprise, Ariz.; his grandparents, Reverend Richard and Myrna Sanford of Meadville, Penn., and Avenel Hennon of Grove City, Penn.; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins survive Mr Hennon. His brother, Randall Scott Hennon, preceded him in death.

Mr Hennon graduated from Danbury High School in 2000. He had a passion for music and was a member of the Madrigals all four years of high school, and also sang in the annual school musicals.

He served in the United States Marine Corps Reserves from 2001 to 2004, serving time in Kuwait and Iraq in 2003. He began working for Stevens Ford in Milford in 2014, and was one of its top salespeople. Mr Hennon was loved and admired by his coworkers.

Charles and Allison married June 19, 2010, and settled in Newtown.

Mr Hennon was a huge fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and was thrilled to attend their playoff game with his dad in 2011. He loved playing poker, following the fights, and never lost touch with his passion for music.

A wake and memorial is scheduled for Wednesday, July 1, from 5 to 8 pm, at Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main Street, Newtown. All are welcome to attend and celebrate his life.
