CGMC Is Again Offering

Singing Valentines

For two days in February, the Connecticut Gay Men’s Chorus will celebrate the season of love with Singing Valentines. CGMC offered singing valentines to the public for the first time last year and the response was phenomenal.

“Singing Telegrams are a part of America’s history,” said Bob Derusha, president of CGMC, “and we’re reviving this tradition with a romantic twist.”

On Saturday, February 12, and Sunday, February 13, recipients of CGMC Singing Valentines will be greeted at their doorstep, anywhere in Connecticut, by a bevy of tuxedo-clad gentlemen who will serenade them with romantic ballads and present a gift basket of goodies.

“Anyone you love — friends, husbands or wives, girlfriends or boyfriends, or that special someone — will always remember the day you sent a Singing Valentine,” said Mr Derusha.

Singing Valentines, including a serenade by tuxedo-clad gentlemen and gift basket filled with Valentine chocolates, two champagne glasses and a bottle of sparkling beverage (either alcoholic or non-alcoholic), are available at $75 per delivery. Call the CGMC at 800/644-CGMC, by Tuesday, February 8.
