Catherine Elizabeth Dalton

Amy and Matt Dalton announce the birth of  a daughter, Catherine Elizabeth, born November 1 at Danbury Hospital.

Catherine weighed 7 pounds 13 ounces and was 19½  inches in length.

She joins her brothers William, 8 years old, and Sean, 7 years old.

Maternal grandparents are Cynthia Scalzo, Danbury, and Rodney Watts, Waterbury.

Thomas and Carol Dalton of Vero Beach, Fla., are the paternal grandparents.

Ava Marik Jaehn

Ava Marie Jaehn, a daughter, was born to John and Melinda Jaehn, Newtown, on November 15 at Danbury Hospital. She weighed 8 pounds, 2 ounces and was 20½ inches in length.

Ava has four siblings, Matthew, 10, Diane, 8, Jason, 7, and Ciera, 3½ years old.

Maternal grandmother is Martha Merillat of Newtown.

Maternal great-grandmother is Patricia Conley of Fairfield.

Owen William McCarthy

A son, Owen William, was born on October 7 to Craig and Alison McCarthy of Charlestown, Mass.

Owen weighed 8 pounds, 3 ounces and was 21 inches in length.

Paternal grandparents are Walter and Pat McCarthy of Sandy Hook.

Mary Riley of Boston is the maternal grandmother.
