The University of Scranton in Pennsylvania has awarded received a of science degree in marketing to Aisling M. Pheasey of Sandy Hook and a bachelor of science degree in economics to Dana H. Robinson, NHS Class of 2000.

Kathryn R. Smith, NHS Class of 2002, received a bachelor of business administration degree in finance from Iona College in New Rochelle, N.Y. Kathryn graduated summa cum laude and received a gold medal for Excellence in Business Administration and a Finance Baccalaureate departmental award. She is a member of Delta Epsilon Sigma and Beta Gamma Sigma honor societies. Kathryn has been awarded a graduate assistantship at Iona’s Hagan School of Business and has been accepted its MBA program. Kathryn is the daughter of Margaret and John Smith of Sandy Hook.

Central Connecticut State University in New Britain announces the following students have been named to the Dean’s List for the spring semester: Sonja Taylor, Colleen Gugino, Bridget Coughlin, Lauren Bucci, Vittoria Wilson, Robert Pattison, Rory Morrissey, and Daniel Mallen.

Paul Murphy, NHS Class of 2005, was named to the Dean’s List for the spring semester at Iowa State University in Ames. Paul is majoring in computer engineering.

Jessica Schmalz, NHS Class of 2004, has been named to the Dean’s List at Hollins University in Roanoke, Va., for the spring semester.
