Breast Cancer Benefit Concert Planned

David Kendall and Marissa Famiglietti will be performing live music, with piano and vocals, at Newtown Meeting House on Wednesday, May 23, to help The Bosom Buddies raise funds to fight breast cancer.

Bosom Buddies is one of the teams signed up to participate in Race For A Cure, an annual event hosted by The Connecticut Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure. This year’s race will be Saturday, June 2, at Bushnell Park in Hartford. The 10-member team has raised over $1,865 (as of April 17), and knows that every little bit helps.

With that in mind, the team will host the performance at the meeting house in May. The performance will begin at 7 pm. All donations received that evening will be added to the team’s fundraising efforts.
