Book Sale Accepting Donations

MONROE — The 2005 annual Book Sale of the Friends of Monroe Public Library will take place June 4-8 at the Harmony Grange, on the corner of routes 110 and 111.

This new location will allow the Friends to accommodate more books and other media for sale. The decision was made to move from its traditional location at Monroe Town Hall because the sale has grown tremendously in the past two years. Last year, 20,000 books were available and profits reached $12,000.

The Friends continue to request donations of gently used adult and children’s books, videos, books on tape, records, CDs, DVDs, and cassettes.

Donations may be brought to the library during regular hours; for large donations, call ahead at 452-5458 to schedule an appointment. Tax receipts are available. All proceeds benefit Monroe Public Library.

For more information, contact Beth Ulman, president of Friends of Monroe Public Library, at 452-9070 or 203-209-4255 or ulmans@alumni.princeton.edu.
