Bethel Library Offering Teen Workshops

BETHEL — The Bethel Public Library will host two workshops for area teens in August.

On Wednesday, August 9, from 6:30 to 7:45, students in grades six through 12 are invited to design their own beaded necklace using glass beads and semiprecious stones. Space is limited, so reservations are required.

The library will then present a duct tape workshop on Friday, August 11, from 11 am until 12:30 pm for students who will be in grades six and up. Participants will learn how to make a wallet with different colors of duct tape. All material are provided and the workshop is free, but registration is required.

All programs sponsored by the Bethel Public Library are free, open to the public, and meet accessibility requirements for the disabled. Those needing special accommodations should contact the library prior a program to make arrangements.

For more information and to register, contact Amy Schumann at 794-8756, extension 0.
