Alan Thomas Fletcher, 41, of Newtown died peacefully April 10 at Danbury Hospital after a long illness. He was born in Norwalk, on December 23, 1975.

Mr Fletcher was a resident of Newtown for more than 30 years. He attended Newtown schools and graduated from Newtown High School in 1994.

He was a passionate audiophile, loving music of all kinds. He provided sound for various bands in the area. Mr Fletcher worked at WMNR and WLAD. He was a ham radio operator and enjoyed spending his time fishing, camping, and visiting the local parks. Mr Fletcher loved animals, especially his yellow Lab, Max.

His devoted mother and father, Caryn and Donald Fletcher, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins survive him.

Calling hours will be Saturday, April 22, from 10 am to noon, at the Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main Street, Newtown. A memorial service will follow at noon. Burial will be private.
