To the Editor:The Newtown Bee for their help and supportive comments during this, my first time running for office. They did not know me, but they went above and beyond to make me feel a part of the process as if we were old friends.

I would like to thank everyone in town for the tremendous experience I have been privileged with, in running for and being elected to the Board of Finance. I look forward to helping shape our financial future with fellow board members who have a wealth of experience and utmost understanding and integrity. This truly is One Newtown, All Together, Moving Forward.

As a teacher of economics it is my view that towns and cities across America will experience increasing financial pressure to manage the bottom line to ensure sustainability of the precious assets we call home.
