Please join me in support of Joe Girgasky for Legislative Council in District 1.

Joe Girgasky is an intelligent, thoughtful and honorable man. It was my pleasure to serve with Joe on the Legislative Council for four of my eight years. He has been a tireless advocate for Newtown.

Joe supports projects and legislation when it is in the best interest of the majority of Newtown's citizens. He also exercises fiscal restraint when a spending measures goes beyond what we citizens should be asked to reasonably absorb.

Joe's been a Newtown resident for 24 years. His son Mitchell is a graduate of Newtown High School and is known for his technical wizardry in support of the school's acclaimed theater productions. Mitchell is a senior at Emerson College, completing his degree in Theater Arts and Technology.

Returning Joe to the Legislative Council is a step forward for Newtown as our community navigates through fiscally troubled waters. Joe understands that he and the council must collaborate with our state representatives as they strive to convince their colleagues of the need for structural reforms.

Newtown needs a man like Joe Girgasky. Please join me in voting for Joe Girgasky for Legislative Council District 1.
