Head O’ Meadow fourth grade chorus members and their teacher Cynthia Holberg shared performances of two of the songs being prepared for the school’s winter concert with the Board of Education at its meeting on Tuesday, December 15.

“Their chorus is 74 members strong,” said Director of Music Michelle Hiscavich, “so we brought a sampling so they could perform for you this evening.”

The students sang “A Love Reborn“ in a two-part round and “When the Winter Comes” in a three-part round.

Board of Education Chair Keith Alexander thanked the chorus and Ms Holberg for attending the meeting.

“You guys were great,” said Mr Alexander. He added later, “I really enjoyed the music.”

As Ms Hiscavich announced, the entire Head O’ Meadow fourth grade chorus is set to perform its winter concert on January 6 at the school at7 pm. A snow date for the concert is January 13.
