Because the unprecedented volume of political and other types of Letters to the Editor coming into The Bee in this local election season may exceed the available space in the newspaper for their publication, some of the letters received for publication may not appear in the print edition of The Bee. All letters will continue to be published online at NewtownBee.com.

We will continue to print dozens of letters each week, which is more than any other news publication we know of. Letters will be selected for print publication on a first-received, first-published basis, and on those weeks when not all letters appear in print, we will indicate to our readers that more letters appear online. The deadline for receiving letters to the editor continues to be Wednesday at 5 pm, though letter writers who wish to secure a position for their letter in the newspaper are advised to submit their letters as early as possible.
