Friends of Newtown Seniors (FONS) is planning a social get-together for all local senior citizens.

The group will be gathering for a meal at Burgerittoville, 57 Church Hill Road, on Wednesday, January 29, at 4 pm. The menu is varied, and the restaurant will provide separate checks.

One of the missions of FONS is to encourage socialization among Newtown’s senior citizens. The event should be a great time to meet up with friends and also make new ones.

Reservations are not needed.
