The 41st Ukrainian Festival, organized by the Holy Protection of the Blessed Virgin Mary Ukrainian Catholic Church of Bridgeport, was held at Castle Hill Farm on Sunday, September 18.

According to a schedule a Ukrainian Divine Liturgy began the day's events.

Later, food was served and dance performances, live music, pony rides by Little Things Farm, hay rides pulled by tractors, and an area to pet animals, like two goats who chewed on hay while children pet them, were offered.

Dance performances began just before 3 pm. The Kalynonka dance group of Stamford began the performances after Holy Protection of the Blessed Virgin Mary Ukrainian Catholic Church Reverent Ivan Mazuryk announced the start of the performances.

Rev Mazuryk said the Paproski family, which owns the farm where the festival is presented, has always been welcoming when hosting the festival, and he encouraged attendance for next year's event.
