Frank Mason, 52, a longtime resident of Monroe, died peacefully August 21 at Yale New Haven Hospital, with his loving family by his side. Born October 1, 1962, in Bridgeport, he was the son of the late Ronald and Frances Carlo Mason.
John Arnold Beckett, 85, a ten-year resident of Danbury, and former 26-year resident of Ridgefield, died at the Bethel Health Center August 22, following a long illness. He was born in Battle Creek, Mich., February 12, 1930.

Gilbert E. “Bud” Van Valkenburg, 86, of Danbury died at his home August 13. He was a loving, trusting husband to his late wife, Jean Marie Van Valkenburg. He was born in Newtown, July 30, 1929, and was the son of the late Ella May Storm. He attended Newtown High School.
Timothy F. McQueeney, Jr, 71, husband of Jeannette Radocchio McQueeney, died August 11, in Venice (Fla.) Regional Bayfront Hospital. Mr McQueeney was retired and living in the Venetian Golf and River Club.
