Sylvia Parsons Davidson, 100, died peacefully July 25, at Masonicare in Newtown. She was born February 5, 1913, in Newtown, to Louis Birdsey Parsons and Vivian Wetmore. Her husband, Howard B. Davidson, predeceased her in 2012, after 76 years of marriage.
Sal Cucco, 50, formerly of Stamford, died July 27, at Danbury Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. He endured countless surgeries and procedures with an ever positive and courageous spirit that inspired all who loved him. He was born in Stamford, January 18, 1963, to Alberto and Giovanna Cucco.
Jeannine C. Lombardo, 69, of Brookfield, loving wife of 50 years to Joseph Lombardo, died July 23, at Danbury Hospital. She was born January 29, 1944, in Membruggen, Belgium, to Leonard and Rosalie Stegen.
Robert James Curtis died July 18, at Candlewood Valley Care Center, New Milford, after fighting a courageous battle with Parkinson’s Disease for 26 years. He was born in Glen Cove, N.Y., February 19,1932, to Robert and Catherine (McGowan) Curtis. He was the beloved husband of Christina Curtis for 56 years.
James Theodore Rockwell, 82, of Newtown, died July 13, due to the progression of Alzheimer’s. Mr Rockwell, aka “Rocky,” was born in Newtown, the twelfth of thirteen children of Stephen Edmund Rockwell and Elizabeth (Carl) Rockwell.
Theresa “Terry” B. Emmons, 82, a resident of, Monmouth, Maine, formerly of Newtown, died July 11,in Lewiston, Maine, following a period of declining health. She was born March 15, 1931, in Fairfield, the daughter of Michael and Theresa (Burian) Chervansky.
oy DuBail, 72, wife of Arnold H. DuBail of Monroe, died peacefully July 13, surrounded by family and friends, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born January 27, 1941, to Ray A. MacDonald and Thelma Curtis MacDonald.
