Mary M. Cosier, 78, of Wolcott and formerly of Milford for over 50 years, beloved wife of the late Robert Cosier, died with family by her side, February 2. She was born in Bridgeport, December 15, 1935, to Daniel and Anna Morris Birch.
Margaret Barker “Peg” Donovan, 86, of Bridgeport, died at The Carolton Convalescent Hospital, Fairfield, February 4. She was the widow of John W. Donovan. Born November 16, 1927, the daughter of George H. and Alice Maguire Barker, she was a lifelong resident of Bridgeport.
Herbert J. “Buddy” Draney III, 79, of Newtown, died peacefully January 31, at Danbury Hospital. He was born in Paterson, N.J., January 22, 1935, to Ann and Herbert Draney. He lived most of his life, raising a family, in Wyckoff, N.J., before moving to Newtown in 1998.
Randall S. “Sid” Watkins, 63, of Southbury and a Sandy Hook native, died peacefully February 2, at Danbury Health Care Center, with loving family at his side. He fought a courageous battle with cancer. He was born October 17, 1950, in Sandy Hook, where he was raised.
James John Aurigemma, Sr, 62, of Indian Land, S.C., died January 26 at home, surrounded by his loving family. He was born July 9, 1951, in Bridgeport, and was the son to Concetta Dierna Aurigemma and the late Pasqual Aurigemma.
Sara Leah (Lillian) “Lily” Glickman, 85, of Florida, died January 22. She was born in 1928, and educated in Glace Bay, Nova Scotia. She married her high school sweetheart, Dr Maurice Glickman, after he returned from North Africa, where he served in the RCAF. They moved from Canada to Newtown, where Dr Glickman, who passed away in 1998, worked as a psychiatrist and physician. The Glickmans raised their family in Newtown.
