Emma A. Rohde, 87, of Newtown died November 22 at her home, following a long illness. She was born in Washington, Penn., August 2, 1927, a daughter of the late Katherine (Albert) and James Kaskan, and grew up in Brownsville, Penn.
Maryann Perigyi, 86, a lifelong resident of Newtown, died November 16 at St Vincent Hospital. She was the beloved wife of 65 years to the late Ernest Perigyi. She was born in Bridgeport and was the daughter of the late Emma and Stephen Csvihinka.
David Polcyn, 57, of Sedona, Ariz., died November 15, while hiking in the Beaver Creek area of the Coconino National Forest. He was born in Chicago, October 11, 1957. He graduated from Newtown High School in 1975, and from the University of Connecticut in 1980 with a degree in international business.
Linda Lou Palanzo Rosvally, 67, of Newtown died November 18 at Danbury Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Mamie (Clerici) and Carl Palanzo. She was born in Danbury, where she attended St Peter Catholic School, and she graduated from Bethel High School.
Eleanor Anderson, 96, of Woodbury, widow of the composer Leroy Anderson, died November 12, of natural causes, at her home. She was born Eleanor Jane Firke, May 21, 1918, in Champaign, Ill., the daughter of Beulah Hubbard Firke and Attorney Charles Wesley Firke.
Lorraine Dinan Casey, 91, of Sandy Hook, beloved mother, cherished grandmother and great-grandmother, died November 15 at Danbury Hospital surrounded by her family, following a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Warren T. Casey.
