    Michael W. Stan, 55, of Holden, Mass., died December 15 at UMass Memorial Healthcare-University Campus, after an illness. He was born in Jersey City, N.J., and had lived in Worcester and Leicester, Mass., before moving to Holden more than ten years ago.

  • George E. Dimyan

    George E. Dimyan, 83, a lifelong resident of Danbury, husband of June (Alhage) Dimyan, died December 16. Affectionately known by most as “Wimpy,” he was born in Danbury, May 17, 1931, a son of Celia (Jowdy) and Joseph Dimyan.

  • Doris Giambruno

    Doris (Andersen) Giambruno, 82, died December 10 in her home in Port Saint Lucie, Fla. She was born January 5, 1932, in Glen Head, Long Island, a daughter of the late Blanche (Horinowski) and Aksel Andersen.

  • Connie Pasquarella

    Connie Pasquarella, 81, of Norwalk died December 10. She was born September 27, 1933, in Pawtucket, R.I., and was the daughter of the late Albina (Maynard) and Wilfred Casey. She was married to her husband, Pasquale J. Pasquarella, for 58 years.

  • Fred Alexander Samoskevich

    Fred Alexander Samoskevich, 73, of Woodbury died December 14 in his home. Mr Samoskevich was born June 20, 1941, in Bridgeport, and was the son of the late Veronica and Nick Samoskevich.

    Marie A. DeVito, 79, of Newtown died December 12 at Danbury Hospital.

  • Elizabeth Catherine Thomas

    Elizabeth Catherine (Schmidt) Thomas, 94, died December 15 at Masonicare at Newtown. She was the widow of Frederick R. Thomas, Sr, whom she had married in 1945, in Yonkers, N.Y She was born in New York City, November 2, 1920, and was the daughter of the late Elizabeth C. (McGarry) and George R. Schmidt.

  • Kathleen S. Wade

    Kathleen S. Wade, 57, of Newtown died at Danbury Hospital December 5, after a long, courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Danbury, August 4, 1957, and was the daughter of the late Burton and Jane Covill Corbett.

  • Richard Ferguson Ruscoe

    Richard “Dick” Ferguson Ruscoe, 76, died December 14 at the Masonicare at Newtown facility. He was the beloved husband of Dolores Trenka Ruscoe of Newtown. He was born in Bridgeport, September 9, 1938, and was the son of the late Pearl (DeForest) and Garnet Ruscoe.
