Tapping for Peace, an EFT group practice, is a spinoff of The Tapping Solution Foundation’s service to the community since December 2012. Tapping for Peace is pleased to announce continued trauma and stress relief services as well as sliding scale subsidies for those who qualify.

Tapping For Peace operates out of the offices of The Tapping Solution Foundation (TTSF), which is headquartered within Betts Square at 107 Church Hill Road in Sandy Hook.

Victoria Cryder, the community care manager for Tapping For Peace, said the group practice is “committed to our mission of keeping hearts open and healed in Newtown.

“We are pleased to expand the scope of our work to members of neighboring communities who want to experience the power, ease and comfort of EFT Tapping,” she added.

According to Jennifer Barahona, executive director of The Newtown-Sandy Hook Community Foundation, “We have heard from countless individuals who have reported finding tremendous relief from their stress and trauma symptoms through the use of EFT Tapping. We are thrilled that Tapping for Peace practitioners will continue the work of helping people understand the biology around trauma by teaching a method of relief that is both effective and self-sustaining.”

TTSF was founded by Newtown resident and best-selling author Nick Ortner, who wanted to create a long-term trauma relief effort in Newtown. According to Mr Ortner, TTSF will continue its support by providing the seed money to establish Tapping for Peace. The foundation will also continue its support, outreach and education efforts as well as to refer people to these outstanding practitioners, offered Mr Ortner.

The foundation has been delivering EFT Tapping trauma services and professional training for parents, children, educators, first responders, mental health and health care providers since December 2012. TTSF has also developed a powerful network of local, national and international alliances to bring train-the-trainer trauma relief and resiliency services and educational programs to Newtown. This is a sustainable long-term, community-based initiative supporting healing in Newtown and globally.

EFT Tapping is a stress and trauma somatic release method that is simple to learn, child-friendly and recognized by the American Psychological Association as an effective treatment for stress and trauma. EFT Tapping is just as highly effective for stress resiliency, anxiety, pain relief, test anxiety, panic attacks, and a host of other physical and emotional symptoms.
