  • New Warden In Place At Garner Prison

    Garner Correctional Institution, the state Department of Correction’s (DOC) high-security prison at 50 Nunnawauk Road, which opened in 1992, now has its sixth warden, a man who served as a deputy warden there before being promoted late last year.

    Henry Falcone, 51, who grew up in Bridgeport, is the new warden. Warden Falcone became a captain when he was assigned to Garner in 2006. He then became a deputy warden there in 2011.

    Earlier in his career, he had worked at the Bridgeport Correctional Center.

  • Garner Prison Gets A New Warden

    A new warden has taken charge at Garner Correctional Institution, the state’s high-security prison for men at 50 Nunnawauk Road.

    Henry Falcone, who served as a deputy warden for operations at Garner under former warden Scott Semple, has been named the prison’s new warden.

    Mr Semple was Garner’s warden from mid-2009 until November 26. Mr Semple has been promoted to the post of deputy commissioner for operations for the state Department of Correction (DOC).
